using free software to protect computer, antivirus + 2 firewalls?

Hello everyone!

I am trying to protect my computer for free. Here’s what I have:

-avast free home edition
-free ad-aware edition
-windows firewall
-finjan internet searcher
-free pc tools firewall plus

Is this a good combination? Are there any problems with having this combo? How good is my protection?

Currently I’m using Avast Home edition as my antivirus software. I also use PC Tools spyware free from google. I just need something for safe gate keeping. Anything around that’s good and free? My OS is Windows XP. Thanks a lot.

free internet security/antivirus question. is the free pc tools stuff any good?

im wondering cuz in a couple weeks my norton internet security trial (came with my laptop) will run out. im thinking of geting pc tools internet security wen the norton subscription expiers.

(note: im 14 years old i dont have a credit/debit card)
