Free Web Tools – What is BudURL?

You are probably familiar with TinyURL, a free tool that shrinks long URLs.  (For those of your who use Twitter, you may have noticed that any long website address added to your Twitter post was shrunk.)

So what is different about BudURL?  Here is what is cool:

Not only can you shrink a long url, but also add notes and tags along with detailed analytics

How Can I use BudURL?

There are multitudes of ways to use BudURL, but here is my favorite:

• Links poted to social networks – ie Twitter
• Blog posts and comments on sites that I contribute to, but cannot see the stats
• Affiliate links
