[Free] New Esoteric Programming Language: Piet
Do you have too much free time on your hands? Are you one of those people with a “can do” attitude, believing that anything is possible provided you put in the effort? If so, try your hand at the newest entry to the
Free Esoteric, Obfuscated, Unusual and Weird Programming Languages page. This programming language, Piet, doesn’t use words but colours
(or “colors” in US English). Your completed program now not only performs the function you designed it for, it also looks like a piece of abstract art.Note: if you find this language too easy, try your hand at one of
the other esoteric languages listed on the page. The majority are gratuitously difficult to use. For example, one of them requires
function names to be numeric, making it non-trivial to actually use a number in the program. And it frees memory “when the program exits, or, at random intervals, whichever comes first”! Another one uses only whitespace.
