Which webhosts offer the best and easiest free website tools?
I’m basically looking for a free website building host site that has cool features without requiring you to have create all sorts of accounts with other sites like wetpaint does in order to use features. Also a site that offers basic webtools that really anyone can figure out who only has a basic understanding of HTML.

Well, with http://blogger.com you can use all it’s features and you can drag and drop your widgets around. If you ever wanted to, you could edit the html, but you don’t have to know any to use Blogger.
With http://weebly.com you have lots of features, even better drag and drop, and no ads (just a “create a free website with weebly” text link at the bottom). You don’t need any html knowledge either.

Blogger and Weebly have nice platforms for setting up a blog/website. I also like blog.com.
I also recommend having a free blog on your own hosting – like http://www.hostgatorlive.com – which has a tool that enables you to set up a Wordpress blog on your own hosting in just a few minutes!
The free platforms are nice but you also want one that you own and can’t be deleted at the whim of another. (I have several friends who have lost their websites for no good reason on some of these ‘free’ platforms.
