   Yes you can make money from blog. The trick is to have content regularly updated and to stick to one area of interest. You can have "google adsense" or "Yahoo publisher" or other forms of passive income on your site and you get paid by traffic and on any ads that are clicked on. Also blogs that are based on certain "keywords" make more money than others..for instance a blog based on "what I did today" compared to a blog based on "insiders tips on mortgages" will not make near the amount of money based on traffic than the "mortgage" blog…So basically the secret to a money making blog is (1) content (2) traffic (3) keywords (4) passive income..there are other factors but I just gave you a general list
