  • Increase Your Google Love with this Free Web Tool

The free web  tool can help you Google results!

    How?

Google loves content!  I don’t know about you but it is hard for me to write articles.  It used to take a lot of time and frustration.

Now it is easy with this cool tool!

    Easy articles

I paid $297 for this software and now you can get it for free!

Its called “Article Writing Assistant” – Easy Articles

It automates big parts of writing articles, and gives you a sort of “template” to go by.
This way, you can spend more time thinking “What” you’re going to write, rather than
“How” you’re going to say it!

    Pretty cool.

  • Free Web Tools-How to Make a Favicon

How to Create a Favicon for your Website with Free Web Tools

    What is a favicon?

A favicon is a shortened version of ‘favorites icon.’  I have also heard this referred to as a website icon, shortcut icon, url icon, or bookmark icon.

Have you ever noticed a little image in the address URL?

    Web Tech Tips Favicon

The image to the left of the web address is a favicon or an icon associated with this particular website: www.WebTechTips.com/blog.

You can create an icon and have it displayed with your URL on a browser.  It isn’t too hard to do.

Most browsers support favicons and will display them in the browser web address bar and next to the page’s name in the bookmarks.

Browswers that support tabbed browsing will typically show the favicon next to the page title.

How do I create a favicon?

Favicons are relatively easy to make.  There are a several free tools online.  One of my favorites is from HTML-kit

Next post I will make a video showing you how to make a favicon.

I have been using Gmail for several years.  In fact I remember when Gmail first got started you had to find someone who had accounts to share.  People were even selling them on eBay.

Gmail has steadily improved their service over the years. Recently they just added the ability to change themes for your account.  Pretty cool!   You can change your theme anytime you want which will keep you email account looking fresh!

If you have a Gmail account then try a new setting today!

BudURL was designed from the start to give small businesses and marketers insight into previously invisible click traffic. Not everyone has access to Google Analytics and most of those that have it don’t know how to use it. BudURL makes link tracking amazingly simple. Shorten the link, put it somewhere, and watch the clicks roll in. It’s that easy!

BudURL is easy to use! Just paste in a large, unruly web address in the box above and click the “Shrink It!” button. You’ll get a unique BudURL™ that you can use anywhere you’d like such as social networks, instant messages, emails, ad campaigns, electronic newsletters, etc.
